What we collect
Account info (name, email), the photos and details you submit for a case, payment info processed by Stripe, and standard service logs (IP, device, error reports). We do not buy data from third parties.
How we use it
To deliver a written second opinion from a US-licensed California dentist, support you if something goes wrong, prevent fraud, and meet legal obligations. We do not use your case content for advertising or to train AI.
Who can see your case
You, the reviewing dentist, and a small number of our staff for support and audit purposes. Your dental photos and medical details aren't shared with anyone else without your consent.
Where it lives
Encrypted in transit and at rest on AWS infrastructure in the US. We operate under a signed Business Associate Agreement with AWS and log access to your data for audit purposes.
How long we keep it
Active cases and your account stay until you delete them. After deletion, we keep minimal records (e.g., payment receipts) only as long as legally required.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, fix something incorrect, or delete your account. California residents have additional rights under CCPA — described in the full Privacy Policy.
Children
dentsecond is not for use by anyone under 18. Don’t submit information about a minor without that minor’s parent or guardian as the account holder.
